A better rock and roll band ever based inside Detroit, Michigan, notable for blending such diverse influences such as punk rock, glam, and soul as well as using the dual bass guitar, dual drum lineup. A Dirtbombs were formed by Mick Collins (of a influential his pickup rock group the Gories) as a side project & began recording songs by 1995.
In the decade since their conception, the Dirtbombs own hosted a revolving door of musicians each in the studio & on tour. When of 2005 the b&’s lineup consisted of Mick Collins in guitar, Troy Gregory in bass, Ko Melina in a distorted “fuzz� bass, & Ben Blackwell and Patrick cooper Pantano on the deuce drum sets.
Originally conceived as a “singles band�, a Dirtbombs were to record sole 7� records; nonetheless, their record label In The Red persuaded the two to record an LP. Collins decided that whenever the band were to record a good-length album it would deal with the entire tool such as a giant only, meaning that both would demonstrate of these musical idea. 1998's Horndog Fest was the punk record, 2001’s Ultraglide around Black was the collection of 100% soul, R & B, and Motown covers, and 2003’s Dangerous Magical Noise was a pop rock album. Around 2005 a band freed If You Don’t Already Have the Look… a Two-disc collection of their singles & rarities.
